Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, a musician's daughter born in Mexico was born into the music-loving parents of her family. The majority of her childhood was spent listening to classical music, old boleros, and the traditional romantic and ranchero ballads. Ana loves Tangos. She also loves operas as well as any dramatic performance. Ana began learning and singing music with her mother, she began her more intensive singing training when she was 16 working with the famous Mexican Tenor Flavio Becerra. She continued her musical studies at the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and later at the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. When she was a student, and a young professional, she performed with many chamber groups and opera choruses throughout Guadalajara and Mexico City. She was a member of the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to Southern California. She is currently a member of Ensemble XXI of Redlands and often performs as a soloist with the traditional Latin American music at private occasions. As an instructor and performer in the local area the passion for music and art keeps her involved in a range of projects. Ana is a previous part of the Community Chorus of Redlands (as well being a member of the Inland Master Chorale) and Performance Loft. Ana thank Inland Master Chorale members for allowing her to perform classic Latin American song.
